Lies We Believe
If knowing the truth sets us free, it stands to reason that believing lies keeps us captive. There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death (Proverbs 14:12 & 16:25).
Is it possible that our thinking has been shaped by spiritual forces into believing things that aren't true? Could we, good people with the very best of motives and intentions, be somehow living our lives out of things that sound right, but are actually working to our detriment?
This course seeks to explore some of the things that appear to be true, even seem supported by Scripture, yet have led us into a counterfeit belief system. The result is frustration, failure, hopelessness, discouragement, and, ultimately, the sense that our relationship with God seems virtually nonexistent.
We not only expose some of the lies we believe, but we also look at God's remedy for them. We also look at how we can break our agreement with the kingdom of darkness so that we can internally receive the truth of God's word.
